Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients
  • 2 large cans of drained sweet potatoes
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • ½ cup softened butter
Instructions
  1. Mash sweet potatoes.
  2. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and melted butter.
  3. Spread in a 9 X 13 pan.
For the topping:
  1. Mix brown sugar, flour and nuts.
  2. Cut in softened butter.
  3. Sprinkle over sweet potatoes.
  4. Bake at 350 until brown for approximately 35-45 minutes.
